Orange Sports TV on France's first mobile bundle

Orange Sports TV will be one of the very first channels available on mobiles in France through a new quality standard. Audiovisual regulator Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel accepted our bid for one of the 16 Digital Video Broadcast-Handset (DVB-H) frequencies that will become part of the personal mobile TV bundle. This format delivers unrivalled picture quality on mobiles.Orange was Europe’s first operator to broadcast live mobile TV in 2004. Now we offer 62 live TV channels and 3,500 on-demand videos to more than six million clients in France, using Edge, 3G and 3G+ networks. Mobile TV is all set to grow by leaps and bounds and Orange is ready to back this trend with all available technologies.
